James King (born 1855 in Southampton, Hampshire; date of death unknown) was an English cricketer. King was a left-handed batsman who bowled left-arm fast.
King made his first-class debut for Kent in 1881 against the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's. King's second and final first-class match for Kent came in the same season against Derbyshire.
In 1882 King represented Hampshire a single first-class match against Somerset.
